A Boksburg firm building capability across South Africa
OPEHST Consulting & Training was founded on a simple belief: an organisation performs only as well as its people are led, skilled and supported.
For nearly two decades we have worked with government departments, TVET colleges, universities, corporates, SMMEs and industry associations. We diagnose what is holding performance back, design the intervention, and stay in the room until it works.
Our footprint runs from Gauteng to Mpumalanga and beyond, from boardrooms and lecture halls to community centres and taxi-association meetings.

OD practitioner · Performance management facilitator · Entrepreneur
Lungi founded OPEHST Consulting & Training in 2007. She brings academic grounding, frontline facilitation experience and an entrepreneur's drive to every engagement.
Her work ranges from small skills workshops with first-generation learners to keynote addresses at enterprise development conferences with government and international partners. Whether she is coaching managers through the CARERS model or preparing TVET students for work, she brings the same structure, energy and care for people.
Sectors and reach
Lungi has worked with TVET colleges, Tshwane University of Technology, government departments, municipalities, SMMEs and civil society. She designed and delivered business and leadership programmes for taxi owners through TRSA, facilitated the JTEP Upscale programme in Mpumalanga, and has addressed the business community through the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Philosophy
Lasting change starts with people: their dignity, their growth and their potential. Her sessions are participatory and grounded in South African workplaces, pairing lived experience with proven frameworks.
